GM Relearns
There are many items on your vehicle that work together and if a part is replaced or the vehicle lost programming these is tems will need to have a relearn done , examples are Cam/Crank relearn to wireless throttle body/gas pedal relearn. Most repairs done to your vehicle will require a Tech2 to finish the job , even if your battery ever went dead you can loose programming.
Relearns are same and in with diagnostics starting at $50 hr .
SRS AirBag Systems
Weather parts were replaced due to a accident or the airbag light came on if it is on the system is not working. It could be as simple as reprogramming or part replacement. You have to have a Tech 2 to perform all vital functions with the repair of a srs system , most have to be programmed thru ECM/ECU but before programming all repairs need to be made then functions are done like keyed to the body control module & the passenger pressence module has to be zero'd out , that is to make sure the passenger seat knows the proper weight of the person sitting in the seat. We see vehicles that have had everything replaced many hours of labor and still at square one.
